Product overview
Their very good mechanical and thermal properties result from the high quality of the plastic used – polyamide. They are not only resistant to impact, tension, and abrasion, but are also flame-retardant and even self-extinguishing. An additional advantage is their resistance to solvents and diluted acids.
Variety of forms
BÄCKER’s range includes connectors suitable for square, rectangular, round, and oval profiles.
They are available in numerous spatial variants, from single-axis two-way to three-axis six-way versions.
The version without an offset allows the connector to be completely hidden inside the profile. The version with an offset performs well in corner joints as an impact-resistant corner element. In straight joints, this element separates the tubes, eliminating mutual friction.
Most of them are designed for joining profiles at a 90° angle; however, for non-standard solutions, angle connectors with a hinge are also available, allowing any angle to be set within the range of 40°–200°.
For more demanding structures, elements reinforced with a metal core can be used to protect the connection points against excessive loads.
