Areas of application
BÄCKER star knobs belong to standard operating elements with standardized dimensions. Their wide range of compatibility means that they are used in various branches of industry:

Model selection
The choice of a clamping knob should depend on the working environment in which it will be used. Grips made of polyamide show very good mechanical resistance, duroplast performs well at elevated temperatures, and stainless steel is suitable for places exposed to constant moisture and detergents. An additional TPE coating in “soft touch” grips provides a non-slip surface even when hands are wet or oily.
The heavy-duty version of the grip is characterized not only by a stable and durable design, but also by ease of hygiene maintenance. Its solid construction, free of recesses, prevents the accumulation of dirt. The main advantage of the lightweight version is reduced load on delicate machine components. The safety knob is equipped with a button that releases the rotation lock, preventing accidental loosening of the element. The lockable knob protects the object against unauthorized use.
Depending on the application, different mounting elements can be selected:
> blind threaded insert,
> through threaded insert,
> plain insert,
> insert for quick assembly,
> threaded stud,
> threaded stud with a plastic pressure pad,
> integrated nut,
> integrated screw.
Components embedded in plastic guarantee exceptional strength and durability of the connection with the grip. They are also resistant to much higher loads. In less demanding environments, knobs with elements assembled during the completion process can be used. The advantage of this variant is greater freedom in choosing the size and material. Depending on ambient conditions, elements made of galvanized steel, stainless steel, or aluminum can be used.
In every version, the product can be customized by producing it in a non-standard color, with laser marking, or with printing.
